StarAgri offers modern and well-equipped storage and protection services for the entire range of agri-commodities. With a pan-India presence, StarAgri’s warehouse operations are aimed at delivering a single window solution to the varied requirements of the Indian farmer. Our best-in-class warehouse operations involve all activities to store the produce and generate a Warehouse Receipt (WR) that can be used as a collateral.

At StarAgri, we continually improve our warehouse facilities, incorporate best-practices and increase our asset footprint to optimize efficiency.  We have currently embarked on an ambitious project of expanding our warehouses across the length and breadth of rural India in order to tide over the storage problems of Indian agriculture. As part of our warehouse network expansion we are adding 20 lakh tonnes of warehousing capacity across Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, Maharashtra, Haryana and Punjab.

In the second phase, we aim to expand our warehouse network to cover the southern and the eastern parts of India including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Orissa.  StarAgri also plans to foray into allied lines by setting up cold chain, seed and liquid warehouses in the country.

Our combination of leased and owned warehouses will facilitate Rs 1500 crore of collective loan disbursement to the Indian farmers in the next 24 months thereby preventing the distress selling of crops.
