Chairman & Managing Director
Suresh Goyal is the Chairman & Managing Director of StarAgri and one of the founder members of the company. A veteran in the field of agriculture, Mr. Goyal is responsible for providing overall direction and leading the company to achieve transformational growth.
Known for his vast knowledge in the field of agriculture, Mr. Goyal has over three decades of experience in running agriculture and farm related businesses like agri-financing, agri-procurement, trading and warehousing. He has been closely involved with the agriculture movement and farmer communities in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
An expert in the commodities sector, he has been associated with leading Indian and global corporates in advisory and consulting roles related to procurement, warehousing and stocking of agri-commodities. He has also been associated with leading Indian banks in agriculture and rural lending initiatives.
Passionate about the India’s rural growth story, Mr. Goyal is committed to championing methods to ensure better realisation for end farmers and bringing global standards of customer service and efficiency at the rural level.
Executive Director – Administration & Operations
Amit Mundawala is the Executive Director – Administration & Operations at StarAgri and was part of the founding team of the company. A pioneer in agri-financing and creation of rural finance networks, Mr. Mundawala brings strong growth and turnaround leadership to the organization.
With a real understanding of agri and farmer needs, Mr. Mundawala is responsible for operational and tactical execution in the organization.
With extensive experience in the rural lending, collateral and financing sector, he has partnered leading banks like ICICI Bank in their rural lending foray and created an ecosystem of robust lending mechanisms resulting in a zero-default track record. In his previous experience, he has worked with Adani Wilmar, ITC and Alarsa Sons in their rural initiatives.
Executive Director – Strategy, Finance & HR
Amith Agarwal is the Executive Director – Strategy, Finance & HR and one of the founder members of the company.
An entrepreneur who constituted a warehouse company with a 3000 tonnage scientific warehousing/storage capacity in Alwar, Rajasthan, Mr. Agarwal brings the right blend of managerial and business acumen.
With his experience of working in both the rural and corporate worlds, Mr. Agarwal facilitates StarAgri’s vision of integrated development of the rural ecosystem. A well rounded professional, he is responsible for developing StarAgri into a national brand by raising awareness, ensuring a trusted brand experience and creating value amongst the various stakeholders.
He is also responsible for managing corporate tie-ups, legal and financial matters and business development activities at StarAgri.
Mr. Agarwal is a management graduate from Mumbai.
Executive Director – Business Development
Amit Khandelwal is the Executive Director – Business Development at StarAgri and was part of the founding team of company.
Mr. Khandelwal is responsible for turning strategies into action with efficient business processes that are critical to achieving high performance. He is responsible for the performance management of the company and is spearheading StarAgri’s accelerated growth to create a pan-India presence.
Mr. Khandelwal has been associated with the agriculture and commodity sectors for over a decade and has pioneered the development of custom products for contract farming, weather financing and seed financing. A hands-on person with deep relationships in the farmer community at the village and taluka levels, he has been involved in corporate rural initiatives like Mahindra Shubhlabh, and the first pilot initiatives of private banks into warehouse financing.
